Madeline is a Strategic Advisor for TexProtects, a non-profit research, education, and advocacy organization for the protection of children, which she founded. As CEO for 15 years, Madeline led the passage of 46 Texas legislative initiatives, secured over $135 million for proven child abuse prevention programs, and established TexProtects as the Texas Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. She has testified at hundreds of state and federal hearings, is the author of dozens of articles and a contributing author to Child Maltreatment: Emerging Issues in Practice, Care and Prevention, and has been widely recognized for her work. Madeline treated victims of child maltreatment trauma as a psychotherapist before founding TexProtects. Prior to her work in psychotherapy and advocacy, McClure worked in finance as Vice President of S.G. Warburg, International in NYC. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University and her M.S.W. from the University of Texas – Arlington.
