Prior to HKS, she worked as a manager on a state representative campaign in Houston through Annie’s List, which helps elect pro-choice, Democratic women to statewide office in Texas. She then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, where she ran after-school programs focused on leadership and healthy lifestyles with girls in her village. Jaclyn graduated from Rice University in 2012 with a BA in Political Science, Sociology, and a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. She hopes to work in human rights advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights and combatting gender-based violence.
