Research Assistant, Nonviolent Action Lab
Dawn Kang is a second-year MPA/ID student at HKS with research interests focusing on poverty alleviation and migration, especially regarding refugees and asylum seekers in the Middle East. Recent volunteer experiences include working in Lebanon with Syrian refugees and in Mongolia at an international university. Prior to HKS, Dawn worked as an operations analyst on the FX sales and trading team at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Dawn has an undergraduate degree in Political Economy with a concentration in International Development and Global Poverty from the University of California, Berkeley.
