Angela Pinilla-Urzola has a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Nottingham in the UK and is an alumni of the ICCSR (International Center for Corporate Social Responsibility - UK). She served as a Carr Center Fellow from 2016 - 2018. Her research focuses on understanding the role and impact of business on sustainability issues such as poverty, human development and the environment, using interpretive, critical and problem-solving approaches and contributing to public policy. She is interested in understanding how businesses implement organizational strategies in order to counteract problems related to globalization.
