Summer Grant Recipient
Aimee Hwang is a Master in Public Policy student at the Harvard Kennedy School. Aimee earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago, where she majored in Public Policy with a minor in Human Rights. She has been involved with social justice programs that focus on the issues facing the city of Chicago and tutoring local neighborhood children. Aimee has been involved with the Asian American community and the OCA-Detroit chapter. She is passionate about issues such as reproductive rights, access to quality education and affordable healthcare, and immigration. She used the grant to fund her Refugee Resettlement and Asylum Policy & Advocacy Internship with the International Rescue Committee.
