Science Will Not Come on a White Horse With a Solution

Scientists have emphasized modeling the progression of the coronavirus, but not the social consequences of the preventative measure being taken.

In an interview with The Nation, Sheila Jasanoff cautions that "public health should not be the only science at work. Social sciences and behavioral sciences have roles to play, and so far I’ve not seen them involved nearly to the extent that epidemiology has been involved."
