Towards Life 3.0: Ethics and Technology in the 21st Century is a new talk series organized and facilitated by Mathias Risse, Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy and Lucius N. Littauer Professor of Philosophy and Public Administration. Drawing inspiration from the title of Max Tegmark’s book, Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, the series draws upon a range of scholars, technology leaders, and public interest technologists to address the ethical aspects of the long-term impact of artificial intelligence on society and human life.

Surya Kolluri, Managing Director at Bank of America, will give a talk titled, "The Longevity Revolution & the Impact of Technology "

Surya Kolluri:

Surya Kolluri leads Thought Leadership for the Retirement and Wealth Solutions Business at Bank of America. In this capacity he oversees incubation and commercialization of programs in the areas of Social Impact Investing and Longevity. He manages external relationships in these areas including the Stanford Center on Longevity, the MIT AgeLab, the Harvard Kennedy School Social Impact Bond Lab, Age Wave, the Wharton Pension Research Council and the Wharton Social Impact Investing Initiative.

Surya has spoken at a number of public forums including the G20 Financial Inclusion Summit in Tokyo, White House Conference on Aging Regional Forum in Boston, the National Governors Association summer meeting, Oxford University, Wharton Social Impact Investing Conference, the Dementia X forum in Stockholm and the World Health Organization Convening on Healthy Aging in Geneva on the topics of Longevity, Cognitive Decline and Social Impact Investing.

Prior to this, Surya played a variety of roles at Bank of America including Head of Strategy, Business Support Executive and Channel Development Manager. Surya joined Bank of America in 2006 from Bain & Company. He spent 14 years as a strategy management consultant based out of New York City with consulting firms Bain & A.T. Kearney, serving clients in the US and around the world. He has an MS from Drexel University and an MBA from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
