Location:

Nye A, 5th floor, Taubman Building (Harvard Kennedy School)

The Carr Center is delighted to host Human Rights First’s Senior Vice President Rob Berschinski.

Berschinski will discuss the Trump Administration’s approach to human rights, and what the administration’s departure from decades of bipartisan consensus on the benefits of advancing human rights and democracy means for America’s place in the world.

Before joining Human Rights First, Berschinski served in the Obama Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. He also served under Ambassador Samantha Power as Deputy Director of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations’ office in Washington, D.C.
