The Carr Center is delighted to welcome Senior Fellow Siddharth Kara to discuss his new book, Modern Slavery: A Global Perspective.

Kara is a tireless chronicler of the human cost of slavery around the world. In Modern Slavery, he demonstrates the scope of slavery and offers a concrete path to its abolition.

Drawing on 16 years of field research in more than 60 countries around the globe, Kara will discuss the key manifestations of modern slavery and how it is embedded in global supply chains.
