 obrega is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the Free University of B
 erlin\, fostering Latin-American feminist theories and practices to resear
 ch the impact of media narratives on social-environmental conflicts. Speci
 alized journalist on social-environmental issues\, she was an environmenta
 l reporter from O Globo Newspaper and has also published articles in sever
 al international media platforms\, such as The Guardian\, Mongabay\, Le Mo
 nde Diplomatique\, among others. Based in between Germany and Brazil\, she
  also works with text\, photography and video to develop projects with gra
 ssroots networks towards new narratives and media democratization.\n\n\n\n
 	&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n	Nnimmo Bassey is a Nigerian architect\, environmental activ
 ist\, and public sector practitioner.&nbsp\;He is the director of the ecol
 ogical think-tank\, Health of Mother Earth Foundation (HOMEF) and member s
 teering committee of Oilwatch International. He was chair of Friends of th
 e Earth International (2008-2012) and Executive Director of Nigeria’s Envi
 ronmental Rights Action (1993-2013).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;He received the 2010 Rig
 ht Livelihood Award also known as the “Alternative Noble Prize\,” the 2012
  Rafto Human Rights Award\, and Nigeria’s national honor as Member of the 
 Federal Republic (MFR) in&nbsp\;2014&nbsp\;recognizing his environmental a
 ctivism. Bassey received an honorary doctorate from the University of York
 \, United Kingdom in July 2019. He&nbsp\;is also a Fellow of the Nigerian 
 Institute of Architects and has authored books on the environment\, archit
 ecture\, and poetry.&nbsp\;His books include two volumes of poetry—We Thou
 ght It Was Oil\, But It was Blood&nbsp\;(Kraft Books\, 2002)\, and I Will 
 Not Dance to Your Beat&nbsp\;(Kraft Books\, 2011)—as well as To Cook a Con
 tinent: Destructive Extraction and the Climate Crisis in Africa&nbsp\;(Pam
 bazuka Press\, 2012) and Oil Politics: Echoes of Ecological War&nbsp\;(Dar
 aja Press\, 2016).\n\n\n\n	Vandria Garcia Borari&nbsp\;is a defender of ind
 igenous rights and member of the human rights organization Terra de Direit
 os\, a Human Rights organization working to defend\, promote and seek enfo
 rcement of rights\, especially economic\, social\, cultural and environmen
 tal rights. Graduated in Law from the Federal University of West Pará\, Va
 ndria is also a great ceramist of Tapajonic art and part of the Surara do 
 Tapajós women's collective. The Surara collective has existed since 2016 a
 nd is composed of 30 women from 14 indigenous groups\, who fight for auton
 omy and empowerment of indigenous women\, to realize respect for the human
  rights of the peoples of the Lower Tapajós river.\n\n\n\n	&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n	V
