 \n\n\n\n	Speakers:\n\n\n\n	&nbsp\;Justice Luís Roberto Barroso is a Brazilia
 n Professor\, Jurist and justice of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil. H
 e is a professor at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). 
 He has a Master of Laws from Yale Law School\, Doctor of Law from UERJ (19
 90)\, and served as a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School in 2011. He i
 s currently a Senior Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights.\n\n\n\n	Ay
 şe Kadıoğlu is Professor of Political Science and a faculty member at Saba
 ncı University in Istanbul since 1998. She was Sabancı University’s Acting
  President (2016-2018) and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Scie
 nces (2013-2017). She is a member of the Advisory Board of Columbia Univer
 sity\, Sakıp Sabancı Center for Turkish Studies\, and is one of the Adviso
 rs for the online network Free Speech Debate. She was a deputy member of t
 he Board of Directors of the Hrant Dink Foundation in Istanbul (2011-2015)
 . She has been a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University’s Center for Europ
 ean Studies between January 2018 and January 2019\, and is currently a Fel
 low at the Carr Center for Human Rights.\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n	Salil Shetty serve
 d Amnesty International as the organization’s eighth Secretary General fro
 m 2010-2018. A long-term activist on poverty and justice\, Salil Shetty le
 d the movement's worldwide work to end human rights violations and spearhe
 aded a significant move of Amnesty International's work to the global sout
 h.&nbsp\;Before joining Amnesty International\, he was Director of the Uni
 ted Nations Millennium Campaign from 2003 to 2010\, credited with signific
 antly increasing awareness of and accountability for the Millennium Develo
 pment Goals across the world. From 1998 to 2003\, he was Chief Executive o
 f ActionAid\, a leading international development NGO. Salil Shetty studie
 d at the Indian Institute of Management\, Ahmedabad and at the London Scho
 ol of Economics. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the Carr Center.\n\n\n
